Websites for plumbers
Nobody goes looking for a plumber in a good mood. Three of the sites I have built are plumbing sites, they are all live below, and two of those plumbers went and reviewed me on Google afterwards.
Wet and in a hurry
A landscaping customer can take their time over it and come back to it twice. Somebody with water coming through a kitchen ceiling reads the first screen with one hand, because the other one is holding a bowl. At that moment the site has one job, which is to show that you are a real firm and get you rung before they go back to the search results.
That is why Farrel’s site opens with “Emergencies, boilers, bathrooms, drains, electrics. One number.” He covers plumbing and electrics both, and the reason that sentence is the first thing on the page is so nobody has to work out whether they have found the right trade before they pick up the phone.
Gas Safe numbers
All three sites above were open and live when I last checked them on 10 September 2026, and every screenshot opens the real thing.
Luke’s Gas Safe registration number, 964040, is printed on his site rather than hidden behind an about page. Plenty of plumbing sites wear the logo without the number, which is the one part a customer can check. His own five out of five across Google and Facebook sits in the same place, next to the ten years and more he has been at it, because a stranger deciding whether to let you into their house is doing exactly that arithmetic.
David’s site does the same with his Gas Safe registration, his Checkatrade verification and his own five out of five from seventy Google reviews, and it puts them next to the services instead of at the foot of the page. It also takes card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Clearpay, because a boiler that has died in February is a bill nobody budgeted for, and instalments are often the difference between the job happening this week and the customer ringing round for someone cheaper.
He was a cold call who nearly put the phone down on me, and he says so himself in the review further down.
Seventy pages, and six towns
Farrel’s is fifty-eight individual postcode district pages, six service pages and an areas hub, built because he genuinely answers calls across south east London, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Dartford, Gravesend and north west Kent, and because he already had his own 4.7 from 186 Google reviews to stand behind it. It was the largest thing I had built when it went live, and it is the honest answer to whether one person can handle something that size.
Luke works on his own out of Sawtry, covering Huntingdon, Peterborough, St Neots, St Ives, Ramsey and Cambridge. Fifty-eight postcode pages would have been padding, and padding is the thing Google has got best at spotting. He got an interactive map of where he travels and six named testimonials from customers instead. He liked the site enough to hand me his advertising afterwards, which is the only recommendation I really trust.

A star service throughout, Cameron reach out as a cold caller offering a website service, As you do you normally end up putting the phone down. However we were able to work together and he’s done a fantastic job. He’s attentive and very responsive. Even the aftercare once the website is completed is great. Adamantine, specialises in much more than websites. So if you pick up a random call from Cameron one day make sure you stick around and listen to what he has to say. 👊🏾

You are probably the one who answers the phone, does the work, writes the invoice and never gets round to the website, which is usually why it still looks the way it does. Send me what you have got, even if that is a registration number and a camera roll, and I will put a preview of yours together before you have paid anything.
