What happens, in the order it happens.
From the first message to the site being live, with the awkward parts left in.
You tell me what is not working
Through the form, the Facebook page or email, whichever you prefer. I read it myself and reply with what I would actually do, which is sometimes shorter and less flattering than a sales pitch would be.
If what you need is not something I do, or not something worth doing yet, I will say that instead. Sometimes the answer is not ads yet, and a strong campaign pointed at a weak site is the most expensive mistake in this trade.
I design a preview before you pay anything
If it is a website, I build a preview of yours with your own jobs on it and show it to you. You are looking at your actual site, not a template with your logo dropped on top, and you have paid nothing at that point.
If you like it, I finish it and put it live on your own domain, in your name. If you do not, you have lost nothing and I will shake your hand anyway.
The ads run in your account, not mine
Every campaign is built inside your own ad account and funded by your own card at a budget you set. That means the history, the audience data and the results belong to you, and if you ever move on from me none of it leaves with me.
It also means the numbers you judge me on are numbers you can open and read yourself. I never mark up media spend and I never touch your money.
Then it is monthly, and you judge it monthly
Every month you get a written report saying what I changed, what it cost and what came in, in figures your own accounts can confirm. If nothing moved, the report says so, because pretending is more expensive than patience.
Nothing is on a long contract. The work has to be worth paying for in the month you are paying for it.
What it costs, and why that is a conversation
No two trades need the same amount of work. A sole trader with three photographs and a plumber holding down fifty-eight postcode districts are not the same job, and hanging one price tag on both of them would mean one of you is subsidising the other.
So you get a straight number for your business on a call, before anything starts, and I will tell you if the money is better spent on a different part of this than the part you rang about.
Questions I get asked.
Do I have to take all three?
No. Most people start with the website on its own and some only ever want the ads. Each part stands up by itself, they just work better pointed at each other.
Whose ad account do the ads run in?
Yours. I build and run everything inside your own account and you fund the spend directly from your own card, so every number you are judging me on is one you can open and read yourself. If you ever move on from me, the account history and the audience data stay with you.
What does the monthly cover on a website?
Hosting, and me. When a price changes, a new job is worth putting up or something breaks, you message me and it gets done. The site never sits there going stale.
How quickly do ads bring enquiries?
Quickly, when they work. One flooring client's first campaign brought thirty enquiries in under a month and his next one brought fifteen in three days. I am not going to promise your trade behaves the same way, which is exactly why your numbers come out of your own ad account rather than off a slide.
Can I see the work before I commit to anything?
All of it is live. Every site on the work page belongs to a paying client and opens the real thing. If you want a website I design a preview of yours and show it to you before you have paid a penny.
What does it cost?
It depends on how much work your trade actually needs, so I quote it on a call rather than hanging one price tag on everybody. You get a straight number for your business before anything starts, and I will tell you if I think the money is better spent on a different part of this than the part you rang about.
Start with the first part.
Send me your trade and what is not working, and you will get a straight answer about whether I can help before anybody talks about money.
