Privacy
What this site runs, what happens to anything you send, and how to say no to the optional parts.
Data collected
The forms on this site ask for your name, your business, your trade, your town, what you need and your email address. All of it is used to reply to your enquiry and to do the work if you go ahead. If you message the Facebook page or email me instead, I see whatever you choose to send, the same as any other conversation.
The form handler
Form submissions are processed by FormSubmit, at formsubmit.co, which forwards them to cameron@adamantine.app. Their own privacy terms are at formsubmit.co/privacy. Messages sent through Facebook are handled by Meta under their terms.
Always-on measurement
The site counts its own visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you; it tells me how many people visited and which pages they read, and nothing about who they are. Because it cannot follow you, it runs without asking.
Optional tools
Two further tools can run here, and both stay switched off until you agree to them on the small bar that asks. Microsoft Clarity shows me how pages get used, in the shape of anonymised heat maps and session replays, so I can see where a page confuses people. The Meta Pixel tells Meta that you visited, so that if I ever run ads for my own site they can be shown to people who already looked. Both set cookies, which is exactly why they wait for your yes.
Refusing is one tap, your choice is stored in your own browser, and you will not be asked again for six months. Agreeing and later changing your mind is one clear of your browser data. Nothing on the site works differently either way.
Never
Your details are never sold, rented or shared beyond the services named on this page, and there is no mailing list to be added to.
The light switch
If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser storage under the key adamantine-theme. It never leaves your device and it identifies nothing about you. Clearing your browser data removes it, and holding shift while you press the switch hands the choice back to your operating system.
Retention
Enquiries live in my email. If you become a client, your details are kept as long as I am doing your work and for as long afterwards as tax records require. If you do not, ask and I will delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email cameron@adamantine.app and you will get a straight answer. If you are not happy with how I handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
