Data collected

The diagnosis form asks for your name, your trade, where jobs slip away, a number or an email, the best time to ring and anything else worth knowing. All of it is used to reply to you and to do the work if you go ahead. If you message the Facebook page or email me instead, I see whatever you choose to send, the same as any other conversation.

The form handler

Form submissions are processed by FormSubmit, at formsubmit.co, which forwards them to cameron@adamantine.app. Their own privacy terms are at formsubmit.co/privacy. Nothing is sent until you press the button. Messages sent through Facebook are handled by Meta under their terms.

Always-on measurement

The site counts its own visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you; it tells me how many people visited, which pages they read and which buttons they pressed, such as sending the form or opening a client’s site, and nothing about who they are. Because it cannot follow you, it runs without asking.

Optional tools

Two further tools can run here, and both stay switched off until you agree to them on the small bar that asks. Microsoft Clarity shows me how pages get used, in the shape of anonymised heat maps and session replays, so I can see where a page confuses people. The Meta Pixel tells Meta that you visited, so that if I ever run ads for my own site they can be shown to people who already looked. Both set cookies, which is exactly why they wait for your yes, and neither loads anything at all before you give it: no script from clarity.ms or facebook.com is fetched until you press the button that says yes. Refusing is one tap, your answer is stored in your own browser, and you will not be asked again for six months. If you agree and later change your mind, the button in the window at the top of this page asks you again, and a no stops both tools from loading on every page after it. Nothing on the site works differently either way, and nothing you read here depends on your answer.

Stored on your device

Two small entries in your own browser storage, neither of which leaves your device or identifies you: your answer on the cookie bar, under the key adamantine-consent, and whether you pressed Pause motion, under adamantine-motion, so the site stays still for you on the next page. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Never

Your details are never sold, rented or shared beyond the services named on this page, and there is no mailing list to be added to.

Retention

Enquiries live in my email. If you become a client, your details are kept as long as I am doing your work and for as long afterwards as tax records require. If you do not, ask and I will delete them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email cameron@adamantine.app and you will get a straight answer. If you are not happy with how I handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
